Amr Abou Ela wins EGF Event 2 – Stella Men’s Open 17th January 2010
Egypt’s number 1 player stretched his lead at the top of the EGF Order of Merit by winning the Stella Men’s Open over the weekend with consistent rounds of 76 and 72, giving the Egyptian Amateur Champion a 1 stroke victory over Katameya Dan ‘s Helgeson and 2 strokes over National Squad member Taymour Abou El Khier. Played on a immaculate but challenging course over the Championship course at Stell, Abou El Ela finished at 4 over par.
An impressive 68 players in the Stella Mens Open which was event 2 on the EGF Order of Merit.
